innovative and futuristic sustainable component. This is the perfect description of the latest masterpiece by the architect from Valencia Fran Silvestre, who is bringing a change in housing construction by prioritizing efficiency, quality and sustainability.
Light is the driving thread of these eight models of single-family homes designed by Silvestre, which is the reason behind using the solid surface Krion® K·Life 1100 in white for the ventilated façades (Butech) and a technical porcelain model with a stone effect in beige for the exterior flooring (Avenue White Texture by Porcelanosa). As a result, the terraces become an extension of the interior of NIU HOUSES.
The interior design and distribution of the rooms in NIU HOUSES are in complete harmony with the architectural project's concept. The bathroom's interior design transmits a clean, modern and light image, thanks to the white elements, such as the Krion® Solid washbasins and the Acro Compact (Noken) wall-mounted toilets.
These spaces are rounded off with taps, shower heads and teleshowers in chrome finish (Noken). The indirect lighting provides the bathroom's design a welcoming and relaxing touch.
The aim of NIU HOUSES is to demonstrate the possibility of offering homes with quality materials and finishes in a more flexible and accessible way. "The speed of manufacture allows reducing the usual construction times by a third, covering the entire project's management and development up to the property's execution," points out Fran Silvestre's architectural studio.
The residential single-family homes are designed to achieve minimum energy consumption, and they feature renewable energy generation systems. Con la construcción externalizada y la instalación directa en la obra, se reducen los escombros y disminuye la huella de carbono. The construction materials can be used again following their initial purpose by recycling and recovering them.
Another sustainable component in NIU HOUSES is the commitment to procuring the furniture and equipment of the various spaces from manufacturers in Valencia, such as Porcelanosa. Fran Silvestre maintains a firm and committed stance in this project, guaranteeing a minimum environmental impact.
