Designed by the Stile Progetti Associates studio and famed architect Besiana Seraj, the façade of this hotel located in Albania is reminiscent of a creation in origami. For this purpose, the façade has been clad with Krion®, a solid surface which provides lightness, efficiency, and durability to the design.
The exterior enclosure of Chic Boutique Hotel & Spa stands out for its sharp-edged form, the movement of each of the modules in all directions, and for its large windows. This configuration of the elements creates great dynamism and character. At the same time, it contributes to creating comfortable spaces adapted to the prevailing environmental conditions.
The windows and balconies have identical frames, providing coherence to the whole and facilitating integration into the landscape. In this way, the building takes advantage of the light of the Albanian Riviera, with magnificent views of the Adriatic Sea.
The materials used in the bathrooms of the Chic Boutique Hotel & Spa enhance the luminosity of these spaces. The White Carrara Marble (Porcelanosa) ceramic model has been used as flooring and wall cladding, which, with its fine gray veins, adds elegance. In other bathrooms, Newport Natural has been used, giving a rustic touch to the rooms.
At the same time, the Krion® K-Life 1100 material has been used for the countertop of the Arquitect washbasins and wall-mounted toilets with Noken's Rimless system. All of this contributes to a clean and hygienic feel in each room. The ambience is topped off by Noken fittings such as shower taps and washbasins.
And in transit areas, the natural slate of Airslate Graphite (L'Antic Colonial), with its dark tone and whitish shades, provides an extra sophistication to the atmosphere.
The Prada Caliza stone-look ceramic model has been installed as flooring in the wellness and spa area. This model provides visual continuity and increases the feeling of spaciousness. For the walls of the hydro-massage cabins, Mombasa Prada Caliza was installed with Butech installation materials. The texture and relief of the ceramic is a design element which gives an extra personality to the rooms.
