Villa M25, an elegant and modern atmosphere in Catalonia

This south-facing house seeks out the sunlight and opens onto the outdoor space of the garden and swimming pool.

Located in Sant Cugat, one of the most elegant residential areas of the Vallès Occidental, we find Villa M25. The Sambori architecture studio has integrated interior and exterior as a single space, through a large window and unifying textures for both the floors and ventilated façade. The latter also integrates a backlit surround, defining all the limits of the building.

One of the objectives was to obtain a very simple façade and volume in order to integrate the house into its surroundings.
The owners of this property wanted to add it a different touch by modernising some rooms and giving a timeless style to other areas. Villa M25, which is generously sized, is divided into three floors.

The central point of the house is concentrated in the day areas on the ground floor: kitchen, dining room and living room, designed in a single space open to the outside by a large minimalist window that enhances the brightness making it a more functional space and generating different settings thanks to the dynamism of the light.

This area is clad in solid wood in the form of strips, providing warmth together with the Vela Natural floor tiles from Porcelanosa, which contrast with the structural exposed concrete and the furniture in neutral tones and touches of bright colours.

On the first floor are the bedrooms with their respective bathrooms, the night area, situated in the southern part of the house. The flooring that adorns all the rooms on this floor (PAR-KER® Vancouver Sand from Porcelanosa) unifies the textures with the ambience that characterises these rooms. The bathrooms have been designed in light and dark colours, with maximum light with large-format XTONE wall tiles, Aria White and the purity of Krion® Solid. The use of materials inspired by natural stone and hardwood gives the villa a unique personality.

On the first floor, connected by a wooden staircase and backlit by the banister, is the office, which is completely open to the outside, almost all the way around, with the same concept as on the ground floor. On the roof terrace, intended for the use and enjoyment of the family and guests, there is an outdoor kitchen clad with weather-resistant materials.

In the basement is the garage and the utility room with darker tones (River Silver by Porcelanosa), seeking the understated style that the rooms required.
The outdoor area, consisting of a swimming pool with a waterfall and a terrace that continues the aesthetics of the interior of Villa M25.
