Having a swimming pool at home is a huge advantage and even more so in summer, when we are looking to our home as a refuge from the heat and where materials have a fundamental role to play.
In recent years, the construction of swimming pools has shifted towards a more sustainable and functional model that integrates the natural environment into the architecture. Infinity swimming pools with a natural aesthetic or those which open to the outside are some of the latest ideas which are gaining ground in the residential and hotel sectors.
This article will show some examples of these pools, created using the PORCELANOSA collections, with designs that are adapted to current trends.

Limitless and integrated into the landscape
Integrating the swimming pool into the landscape through the use a continuous, diaphanous design expands its dimensions and improves its use. Our suggestion to achieve this style is by using materials with natural textures in combination with furniture made in organic fibres or neutral tones that extend and amplify the design. Collections such as Bremen by PAR-KER® and Bottega or Newport by STON-KER®, all by Porcelanosa, offer a sense of warmth, security and well-being to these overflow swimming pools that blend in with their surroundings.
Exotic swimming pools with mosaic designs
Swimming pools designed with ceramic tiles or glass mosaics, mixing blue and green tones, offer an exotic touch. Collections such as Bali in Matt or Water finishes by L'Antic Colonial allow for the creation of myriad designs, and their installation creates a mirror effect to illuminate the space and the water. These geometric pieces transform the pool into a relaxing summer paradise.
