The latest innovations at the 25th PORCELANOSA Grupo International Exhibition: Porcelanosa presents FOREST, the most sustainable ceramic parquet

Porcelanosa expands its Par-Ker ceramic parquet collection at the twenty-fifth International Global Architecture & Interior Design Exhibition with Forest. A new series included in the Ecoproject commitment which is supported by the PORCELANOSA Grupo and, whose objective is to minimise the impact of emissions, reduce waste and extend the proper use of natural resources.

Its efficient composition and the implementation of innovative production processes make Forest the ideal material for the growing demands in the real estate, hotel and contract markets because of a reduction in production costs, which therefore brings the final price down.

Sustainable at 95%

Forest's starting point is found in its recycled composition, which is more than 95%. The base of this ceramic piece comes from the solid ceramic waste generated during the production process of the other Porcelanosa collections.

Material, on which the most innovative ceramic technology is applied to achieve the best quality porcelain tile that reduces environmental impacts. The Forest series can emit up to 40% fewer CO2 in its production compared to materials from the competition with similar characteristics manufactured in the conventional way.

In addition, the information obtained from the environmental impact from this collection makes the attainment of the environmental product declarations and environmental process certifications, as well as the environmental commitment, much easier for the inclusion in projects around the world.

An unalterable resource in time

Thanks to its resistance, Forest can be used as a floor tile and wall tile, both indoors and outdoors because it has anti-slip versions and offers great durability to external weather agents. Continuing with this premise, the new Porcelanosa collection has a low porosity which serves as protection in humid areas, such as bathrooms and kitchens and even against flooding.

Forest is available in two formats, (22cmx90cm and 14'3cmx90cm) and in the following shades: Natural, Arce (Maple), Fresno (Ash) and Acero (Steel). Designs that defy time with a light finish which perfectly simulates patterns and wood veining.

The new Porcelanosa designs can be seen, from January 29 to February 2, in its central facilities at the 25th Global Architecture & Interior Design International Exhibition.
