The Azrama washbasin, designed for L’Antic Colonial by Clodagh Design, has been nominated in the bathroom category of the national phase of the international EDIDA awards (Elle Decor International Design Awards), held annually by the renowned Elle Decor magazine.
Created from a single piece of Habana Brown marble, the Azrama Primitive Vanity Bioprot washbasin presents a free-standing design made from various concentric rings of natural stone. The unique outline of winding lines which perfectly capture the elegant simplicity of the precepts of Feng Shui inspired this washbasin, developed by Clodagh with the natural materials of L’Antic Colonial. It must be noted that the Azrama bathroom collection has already won the Best of Year 2013 award from the prestigious New York publication Interior Design.
Users can vote for the candidacy of PORCELANOSA Group through the contest website (vote here). The result of the vote will be posted on the elle.es/elledeco website, as well as in the next edition of Elle Decor Spain magazine. The winning products will compete in the international phase of the EDIDA awards with the candidates from the 25 editions global of Elle Decor magazine. The awards will be given during Milan Design Week in April 2015.
This is not the first occasion on which one of the firms of PORCELANOSA Group will participate in the competition. Last year, the G690 kitchen by Gamadecor won the national phase of the EDIDA awards, going on to participate in the international phase at the last Milan Design Week. This was a real achievement that the firm specialising in natural materials hopes to match in this next competition.
