Connecting the neighbourhood to the natural environment through an inclusive and green design. This is the concept championed by the Acrescentar Group in the three residential blocks make up the Green Terrace Condomínio Fechado residential complex in Braga (Portugal).
Homes integrated into the urban and natural environment
The 48 apartments included in this project feature organic interior design full of warm colours, fine materials and spaces open to the outside that connect domestic life with the landscape. This dialogue with nature is present in the different common areas (children's playground, swimming pool and gym), and also in the aromatic gardens that surround each of the buildings, conceived as spaces for escape and neighbourly encounters that improve community dynamics.
Design, sustainability and functionality are the values that define this project, in which PORCELANOSA collections play an important role. This is especially the case in the bathrooms of the homes, where the oak-inspired AC4 Home laminate flooring (L'Antic Colonial) has been included in the entryway to create the continuous design effect.
Light bathrooms with designs by Porcelanosa
To complement this harmonious interior design based on natural textures, ergonomic furniture, and creamy tones, the walls of the bathrooms were covered with Bottega porcelain tile (limestone finish) by Porcelanosa, using Butech installation materials. The warmth of these pieces is balanced with the oval Slender basin and the black Round taps; both collections are by Noken.
Including these taps on the washbasins beautifies the space and also facilitates responsible water consumption, thanks to their cold opening system and flow limiter (5 litres per minute maximum). "Sustainability is present in the different spaces with materials that blend design and comfort in every combination," explained the Acrescentar Group.
