PORCELANOSA Grupo Projects: Residential Jardines de Arruzafa II, the purest light of Córdoba

The 12 houses in this residential area have used collections from Porcelanosa, Butech and Urbatek in order to reinforce their structures and the natural light in each room.

Through open rooms and a Mediterranean decor on a wood and stone basis, the architect, Manuel López Arquitectura gets back to traditional urban planning with a more minimal approach.

Overlooking Sierra Morena and facing southeast-northeast and east-west for the better natural light that comes in, these 12 houses in Córdoba are characterised by their open structures and a Mediterranean decor based on the centenarian wood and stone from the Al-Andalus period, with a more avant-garde touch, though.

This urban project has been overseen by the architect, Manuel López Arquitectura, who has opted for the materials from PORCELANOSA Grupo to enhance the exclusivity of this project.

The different areas of each house have been built as if they were a single room, therefore enhancing the brightness in each room. Through large windows, light colours and rooms which lead to the large outdoor terrace, this residential area is characterised by spacious rooms which are interconnected with each other through collections such as: Boston Stone  STON-KER; the overall flooring of the house, the Manhattan Colonial PAR-KER ceramic parquet which is the flooring leading the way in the bedrooms and the Marmi China ceramic wall tile from Porcelanosa. The white of this material turns bathrooms and kitchens into cleaner and tidier spaces.

Guaranteed resistance

Butech, the company specialised in technical solutions and building materials from PORCELANOSA Grupo, also has a presence in this project. In order to join the main flooring with the terrace, the Normal Plot 30/50 y 50/70 raised access flooring has been used, which sorts the 2% gradient out.

The outdoor raised access flooring designed by Butech creates non-gradient flat surfaces and makes water drainage easier for outdoor terraces. Its drainage system has a greater resistance to water build-ups, overflows and extreme temperatures.

This material has brought the Boston Stone flooring together with the interior of the house while extending the anti-slip Rox Grey through-body porcelain from Urbatek to the Solarium area.

Córdoba, nearby and unique.
