Porcelanosa recovers the charm of hydraulic tiles with the Antique collection

Another year has gone by and Porcelanosa has amazed professionals and users with their latest proposals for 2014 which were showcased at the 21st International Exhibition for Global Architecture. On this occasion, the company created several settings, which were inspired by stylistic trends of each continent, to display its new ceramic flooring and covering collections.

Among the most eye-catching proposals in the Porcelanosa renovated showroom is the Antique collection; being a tribute to ceramic traditions with typical hydraulic tile recreations from the beginning of the 20th century.

In spite of its striking handcrafted aspect, this flooring and ceramic covering series was made my using the most advanced manufacturing technology, achieving a lighter and more resistant material than tiles made with mortar.

However, it is the Antique collection’s vintage and elegant design, displayed in each tile, which really marks its personality. The geometric shapes and floral patterns are repeated between the ornamental elements of this new Porcelanosa series.

The different pieces can be combined together like a mosaic or can be distributed to form ceramic rugs with flat tiles from the Park collection which have the same colours bases (Caliza, Silver, Arena or Black).
