PORCELANOSA Group Projects: Emporium One in Bangkok (Thailand)

The luxury Emporium One Shopping Centre, in Bangkok (Thailand), has reopened its doors after a major refurbishment that has made this imposing building become an icon of contemporary avant-garde architecture, placing it as one of the most innovative projects today.

The prestigious architectural firm, J+H Boiffils, has been commissioned to carry out this magnificent project, backed by the guarantees and trust of the most revolutionary materials from the PORCELANOSA Grupo. For the development of this big project, about 1,500 square metres of KRION® Solid Surface in its 1100 Snow White version has been used, and the next-generation compact mineral developed by Systempool as well in order to cover an evolving and seductive ventilated curved façade.

The architectural project has been made possible thanks to the extensive experience in building systems for facades by Butech, which has headed up the technical team and they have applied the same technical solutions such as the K-Fix anchor. This has allowed the installation of the Solid Surface versatile material for curved façades.

The final result of this creative symbiosis is as superb as it is sophisticated, which houses a six floor building in which the international high-end brands coexist with leisure areas, restaurants and hotels, radiating luxury and innovation in every detail. All this, wrapped in high performance materials from the PORCELANOSA Grupo, which proudly involves the dazzling Emporium One Shopping Centre.
