PORCELANOSA Group Projects: An art deco apartment facing the Seine

These luxury homes, located on Rue Raynouard in Paris and developed by Groupama Inmobilier, feature PORCELANOSA Premium collections in their designs.

Strolling through the Passy neighbourhood, one is transported back to 19th century Paris; with narrow cobbled streets, mansions, rustic bookshops, sweet shops, and romantic gardens like those of the Trocadéro – where Louis XVIII would walk around the ponds and majestic fountains in search of the kind of peace that eluded him at the Tuileries Palace – so symbolic of France’s living history.

The luxurious Raynouard apartments are located in this stately landscape, just a few metres from Maison Balzac where the writer, king of nocturnal writing and literary discipline, started on his work La Comédie Humaine (The Human Comedy) (1830). The Groupama Inmobilier development comprises spacious 109 m2 and 134 m2 homes, with interiors featuring Premium collections by PORCELANOSA Group. As well as views of the Eiffel Tower and the River Seine, the residence benefits from a concierge service, gym, car park, and wine cellar.

 Between classicism and art deco

With interior design blending classical and art deco styles, the design of the apartments is testament to the artistic evolution of Paris, where the baroque architecture of Versailles lives in peaceful coexistence with avant-garde styles. The same can be seen in the Raynouard apartments, where open-plan spaces share a common interior design, with the finest, nature-inspired materials connecting the various zones.

The same is evident in the kitchens, which are integrated into the main living spaces, converting them into meeting hubs for the homes. At the centre of the rooms are the R1.70 Roble Negro and R1.70 Eucalyptus Smutty models by Gamadecor.

Using the finest materials such as wood or the sintered mineral compact XTONE, these kitchens are characterised by sweeping surfaces and extensive storage spaces. Thanks to the incorporation of Kala White Nature and Porto Grey Polished collections from XTONE, the structures are even more resistant, easy-to-clean, and waterproof, with the added benefit of effortless maintenance.

Cutting-edge bathrooms

A neoclassical style has been adopted for the bathrooms, with Urbatek’s Soul technical porcelain stoneware collection as the protagonist. Inspired by Carrara marble, the Soul Stone Nature and Soul Sand Nature collections reproduce both the brilliance and veins of the natural stone in every tile.

White is also the predominant colour of the Marmi China tiles by Porcelanosa, which are blended in some of the apartments with the exclusive Ramsey collection from Venis, tailor-made for the project. Unity between the pieces has been achieved using Pro-Part Chrome profiles from Butech, linking the joins and tiles seamlessly.

The luminosity the collections impart marries perfectly with Lounge tap and mirror fittings by Noken, and Leaf Ferreo, Last Blanco Snow and Next furnishings by Gamadecor.
