PORCELANOSA Group Projects: An incredible apartment in the centre of Rome

The architects Massimo De Andreis and Diego Manfroni from the Next2D studio have used the Newport ceramic wood from Venis, the Artisan 1L natural parquet from L’Antic Colonial and the Noken bathroom collections in the rooms of this property.

Practically designed in white and with all its areas interconnected, this property stands out for its intense lighting and minimalist design.

Practically designed in white and with all open-plan rooms, this apartment in Rome has been remodelled by the architecture studio Next2D and it is reminiscent of the neoclassical style that characterised Italian art of the eighteenth century.

With the collections of PORCELANOSA Grupo, architects Massimo De Andreis and Diego Manfroni have enhanced the light of this property, unifying all its rooms with a unique and minimalist design, in which white, beige and sand tones predominate.

A defence of nature through oak and ceramic

This is the chromatic palette that defines the natural parquet Artisan 1L Woven from L’Antic Colonial, a collection that is present in the main rooms of this house and that boasts the worn and rustic appearance of centennial oaks.

That idea (of returning to pure nature through demanding and warm materials) is upheld by the ceramic wood Tanzania Wine from Starwood, which is used as a bathroom tile and which also combines with the cement elements of Newport Dark Gray from Venis.

The grey of this tile is in line with the sobriety of the home and the nude tones used.

An aesthetic that continues in the main bathroom and the second bathroom, where the Venis Newport Old Natural tile has also been included, its waves offering greater texture and dynamism to the room.

The imperband kit waterproofing system and the Texture Chrome linear grid were used to build the shower tray. Both products are from Butech.

The calm that is perceived in both areas is highlighted by the Arquitect collection from Noken. The clean geometric and avant-garde nature of this collection is emphasised by the Premium Noken Ceramic® tiles and it blends perfectly with the Ras washbasin made in Krion. Made with the compact mineral Kiron® Solid Surface, the nuclear white enhances that neutral design so characteristic of this property.
