PORCELANOSA Group Projects: a façade overlooking the sea, Cool Blue Villa

In the province of Malaga, in the heart of the Mediterranean Coast, one can find one of the latest projects where PORCELANOSA Grupo has collaborated with: the exclusive Cool Blue Villa housing, in Marbella. In particular, and done by both the 123 DV Netherlands architecture studio and AM Construcciones; PORCELANOSA Grupo has taken part in the construction of its outstanding 100m2 ventilated façade manufactured with the KRION® Solid Surface and the systems by Butech.

Enhancing the space in relation to the sea views was a must in this single-family residence. This was achieved thanks to the design of housing, both contemporary and well-oriented, and furthermore, open to the outside, as well as providing crucial locations with views of the coast. Water also plays an important role by means of the fluidity of architectural shapes which seem to bring volumes and a large pool space together. To carry out this project, every single detail has been delicately taken care of, highlighting the design and enhancing space. The result is a very modern avant-garde house with tremendous comfort, along with a view that is focused on the serenity of the sea.

The façade

It is worth highlighting the building systems which have been installed, which turn out to be ideal for a high-performance ventilated façade manufactured with KRION® . To be precise, the K-Fix system was used together with the 1100 KRION® Snow White, which counts on the highest quality, durability and resistance to unfavourable weather conditions as its main advantages. Along with this, and in an exterior wall, one can find the Globe Brick Nepal natural stone wall tile by L’Antic Colonial, installed with the Butech POLITECH N. reactive resin adhesive. An ideal contrast of materials, textures and colours which embellish the outside part of the housing even more.

In short, memorable involvement by the PORCELANOSA Grupo in a project full of superb contemporaneity, distinction and a transparent look.
