PORCELANOSA Grupo joins the United Nations Global Compact

The eight companies that make up the PORCELANOSA Grupo have recently joined the United Nations Global Compact, an international initiative aimed at promoting corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the areas of Human Rights, Labour Standards, Environment and the Anti-Corruption fight in the business world.

With 12,000 organizations from over 145 countries, it is a major initiative that involves, on a voluntary basis a large number of private entities. It does so by promoting compliance with 10 universally accepted principles, a Decalogue of commitments that PORCELANOSA Grupo supports and incorporates in its own management, applying policies and practices in sustainability in the development of their business.

The Global Compact also channels actions that support the United Nations broadest goals, including the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

PORCELANOSA Grupo joins this commitment through the Spanish Network with 2,600 entities more as part of the 12% of large companies, a network noted for its advanced organizational structure which aims to provide companies with effective tools to turn this initiative into reality.

If you want, you can go deeper into the points that make up the compromise that PORCELANOSA Grupo has joined through this sustainable Decalogue: the United Nations Global Compact Principles.
