PORCELANOSA Group refurbishes its flagship store in Valencia

Always up to speed with the latest trends in both architecture and interior design, PORCELANOSA Grupo  has just subjected its showroom in Albuixech (Valencia) to a complete and comprehensive refurbishment. Vicente Navarro’s Valencian studio was in charge of the renovation. Situated in one of the main accesses to the city, the Albuixech showroom is one of the most important showrooms for both architecture and interior professionals.

The refurbished area, a space of 350 metres squared is to be used for sales and as a showroom, which bring together the latest designs and constructive solutions by PORCELANOSA’S eight firms. With regard to the showroom’s refurbishment, Vicente Navarro opted for the creation of a central point with its own personality, one which gets to show the wide range of products in the store. In this way, with a different structure and done with solid surface Krion®, the central isle acts like a container for the latest news about the group’s brands, and at the same time bringing together the central pavilion through the pillars, beams and the compact mineral lattice by Porcelanosa Group, which has also been used in various parts such as the facing, thanks to its versatility. Furthermore, state-of-the-art floor tiles have been used, such as Natural Stone in large format, Linkfloor, Urbatek, Ston-ker® and the ceramic parquet Par-ker®. In order to make the exhibition areas stand out, zenithal lighting has been chosen in the more central areas by means of using an energy-saving system.Additionally, the studio in charge of the refurbishment has tried to integrate the structure with the rest of the space in the showroom, and an example of that can be seen in both the reception and technical areas for professionals, with a design similar to that of a boulevard made up of slides of different products, appealing to those who prefer to wander around the showroom whilst discovering the very latest news about Porcelanosa Group’s eight firms.Pictures: Images Positive
