PORCELANOSA Group Projects: An open and timeless property in Carlet

Designed on two symmetrical levels, this house, which was built by the architect Víctor Tatay and Ideas Interiorismo, removes the boundaries between interior and exterior with the collections from PORCELANOSA Group.

Designed as two volumes in a single block, this property in Carlet (Valencian Community, Spain) blends into the natural landscape with the collections from PORCELANOSA Group.

The union of interior and exterior achieved by architect Víctor Tatay in collaboration with the Ideas Iteriorismo studio removes the boundaries between rooms and reinforces this idea of unlimited space with soft colours and fine materials.

The structure consists of two cubes that are merged together with the large picture windows of the property thanks to the open beam system and the chromatic unity that defines each room.

Interior and exterior connected by the same structure

A continuous design that originates in the living room, the heart of the home, and extends to the terrace. This area is the one that gives meaning to the home as a whole, as it encompasses each room and strengthens the connection between space and user.

An architectural approach with the Bottega Caliza flooring from Porcelanosa, which extends from the façade to the terrace, balancing the exterior light. Esta colección se combina con la tarima de L’Antic Colonial, que enmarca la piscina y crea un contraste armónico entre el azul del agua y el marrón de sus piezas.

Butech's self-levelling spacers and wedges and bonding materials were used to ensure correct installation in all finishes.

An eclectic and bright living room

Neutral colours (white, black and grey) and wood take centre stage in the living room. With an eclectic style that combines light textiles with the softest lighting, the furniture is beautifully interspersed with the Bottega Caliza pieces. Part of the HIGHKER range (Premium ceramics from Porcelanosa), the large pieces are defined by resistance to high temperatures, impact, high traffic and easy maintenance, keeping it intact for longer.

La cocina se concibe como una prolongación del salón y su diseño abierto tiene el compacto mineral Krion® como material principal. As it is aseptic and non-porous, this new generation Solid Surface that shapes the main island and the kitchen countertop makes this space more hygienic due to its antibacterial composition, easy cleaning and imperceptible joints.

The power of the colour white

White is the predominant colour of the main bedroom and the bathrooms, located on the upper floor. To access this level, the property has a geometric staircase built using Porcelanosa's Manhattan Natural ceramic wood.

Contiguo a la suite, el baño principal de esta casa ha fusionado el blanco puro de Krion® (encimera hecha a medida) con las griferías metalizadas de Noken. In contrast, the guest bathroom has incorporated the Bottega flooring from Porcelanosa with the wall-hung Ras (Krion) washbasin and the Urban taps in a black finish from Noken, thus enhancing the pure shapes of each piece.
