This three-star hotel, located next to the Chaves thermal springs in Portugal, has updated its interior design with Premium collections from the ceramics firm.
With a design featuring neutral tones and warm décor that invite guests to relax and indulge in self-care, the Hotel Premium Chaves-Aquae Flaviae has cemented its reputation as an iconic haven in northern Portugal.
Located just a few metres from Chaves thermal springs and just 150 metres from the old town, this three-star hotel has refurbished its main facilities using PORCELANOSA Group collections that are in perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape.
Its proximity to the healing waters of Chaves and its stunning natural environment make this hotel the perfect hideaway to discover Portugal at its most authentic. This runs through the shared spaces and restaurant, where the Porcelanosa ceramic wood flooring is balanced perfectly by the Taco Oxford Cognac geometric wall tiles. The collection's stacked squares combined with pop style red lighting add a sense of lightness to the natural wood tables, and were installed using Butech's self-levelling spacers and wedges to ensure perfect alignment.
The restaurant has an adjoining limitless outdoor chill out terrace. Paved in Porcelanosa ceramic wood and XLIGHT porcelain tiles, the space invites guests to unwind and enjoy the mountains over the River Tâmega. The outdoor pool is located in this same area, paved and tiled in Arizona Stone porcelain tiles by Porcelanosa.
The shared bathrooms showcase a very different aesthetic, combining marble and metal in a labyrinthine style. To achieve this look, they used the sintered mineral compact XTONE on the floors and walls. The tiles in this series reproduce the shine and feel of Carrara marble, and the veins blend perfectly with Crystal White, Marmi China and Glaciar wall tiles by Porcelanosa. A set in which we would also like to highlight the customer KRION® washbasins, Square taps and Noken Acro touchless urinals, and Butech decorative profiles.
This total white design follows through to the en-suite bathrooms, where Bianco Carrara wall tiles frame the Noken Hotels taps and Inter series shower screens complemented by Krion washbasins, making these rooms the perfect restful haven.
