One of the most emblematic hotels of the centre of the charming city of Castellón, the Hotel NH Mindoro, has used the construction materials and solutions of PORCELANOSA Group to carry out a significant renovation intended to update the reception area as well as three floors of the hotel.The new hall offers a more modern and dynamic image of the hotel, thanks to the use of the Krion® solid surface as a covering of the wall where the elevators are located, as well as in the creation of the reception counter. This work was carried out by the NG Espacios processing company, which was also entrusted with shaping Krion® to create the bar, as well as a high table for stools which brings a cosmopolitan air to this environment. The design of the hall and the cafeteria are completed with doors and furniture by Gamadecor, which was also charged with the creation of the panelled layout system in the hall, allowing the separation of the reception from the cafeteria; as well as the two panels in the elevator area and the corridors of the floors.Seeking a resistant and low-maintenance material, in the corridors of the rooms the Contract Clay Linkfloor vinyl flooring from L’Antic Colonial was installed. This material offers the pleasant braided textile appearance of a carpet, but with the advantage of offering water resistance and easy installation and cleaning.To achieve a comfortable atmosphere, which invites guests to feel as if they are at home, in the rooms the practical Roble Decape Residence 1L laminate flooring has been installed. The design of the rooms is completed with furniture elements and wardrobes doors by Gamadecor, created to achieve a unitary and coherent design throughout the building.
The bathrooms of the rooms have been fully equipped with the materials of the Group’s firms. In them we find, among others, Yove screens by Systempool combined with Modul shower trays made from Krion®, a material which is perfect for this use due to its hygiene conditions. Minimal bathtubs by Noken and countertops for Krion®Kole washbasins have also been installed. As for the toilets, the minimalist and elegant design of the Arquitect suspended toilets by Noken have been chosen. All of this is completed with the practical accessories of the Hotels collection, also by Noken.
To maintain the modern, elegant aesthetic present in the rest of the rooms, in the bathrooms ceramic coverings from some of Porcelanosa’s most characteristic collections have been fitted: the organic relieves of Oxo Garden in Arena finish, the stony appearance of Cerdeña Marfil and the elegant Atenas Marfil linear reliefs.
