Himchori Residence is located in Cox's Bazar, one of the main tourist destinations in Bangladesh, and rises up into the imposing hills. This residential villa, designed by architecture studio River & Rain and managed by Porcelanosa Associate-Nupami BD Ltd, blends seamlessly with the natural environment thanks to Premium collections by PORCELANOSA Group.

A natural haven brimming with art and plants

Winner of the IAB DESIGN AWARD 2018 in the Residential Project category, this open-plan two-storey home is camouflaged by the surrounded vegetation, ushering it into its main structure through minimalist decor based on vintage furniture, bright textiles and geometric lamps.

An industrial iron staircase forms the backbone of the structure, connecting the lower (kitchen and living room) and upper (bedrooms and bathrooms) levels. The open space concept plays with the property's split-level style, with marble, wood and traditional cement look ceramic tiles by PORCELANOSA (Barcelona E) used as the main materials.

With huge picture windows opening to the exterior, the property stands out for its use of natural light and symmetrical architecture, blending the most natural of materials with those in a more industrial style. A haven brimming with art and exotic plants.
