PORCELANOSA Group Projects: The new look at the Casado & Pujol offices in the purest Japandi style

The Pablo Muñoz Payá Arquitectos studio, in charge of the remodelling, has prioritised open-plan, luminous spaces that are visually connected with each other.

The professional consultancy firm Casado & Pujol has redesigned its commercial offices in Petrer (Alicante) with the help of the studio Pablo Muñoz Payá Arquitectos. The result is a warm and organised work environment intended to enhance the productivity of employees and offer quality and reliable service to clients.

These offices in the Japandi style, a trend that merges the simplicity and luminosity of Scandinavian style with Japanese minimalism, are notable due to their distribution, divided into two spaces. These are visually connected thanks to the natural textures and neutral tones of the PORCELANOSA Group collections, which add visual continuity to the composition.

Visual continuity

To combine the consultancy and general management space, where the reception, waiting room and employee work areas are located, with the personalised consultation area and meeting rooms, the AC4 Natural 1L Michigan Clear 19.3 cm x 128.2 cm laminate from L'Antic Colonial was used.

The natural textures and almond tones of the slats that have been installed as a flooring and main wall cladding are enhanced with the properties of ceramic, creating "a clear and elegant environment, which gives a touch of freshness thanks to the corporate colours on the pieces of the frontal wall", as explained by the architecture studio.

Finishes that make the difference

The interior of the meeting area is formed by glass cubes that aim to reflect the transparent nature of the management firm. Here, sober tones are combined with colourful side panels that achieve a more relaxed, joyful and fun room. A tribute to the naïve style in a professional context.

To achieve this effect, the white micro-cement 59.6 cm x 59.6 cm ceramic floor from Porcelanosa was installed. This model's finish, inspired by the textures and shades of white cement, provides a sensation of space and luminosity in the rooms.

In addition to being highly resistant to impact and high footfall, this floor tile separates the spaces, creating an original contrast with the laminate and thereby achieving the organisation, cleanliness and luminosity of the offices and meeting rooms in the Casado & Pujol offices.
