The exclusive character of Redondo Beach, a city which is located on the Los Angeles coast where Hollywood artists and international sportsmen live, is evident in this new home built with materials by the companies at PORCELANOSA Group.
With an open-plan concept in mind, the head of the project Arash Abbasian, from Kashi Organization, has developed a home with up-market finishes. The two-floor building has very large and open spaces, increasing the sensation of freedom and well-being.
The mosaic, marble and ceramic, together with wood give this building its personality. The main floor has a bright living room which opens on to the kitchen without any dividing walls. The Moon Glacier Metallic Crema mosaic tiles by L’Antic Colonial combined with the Ona ceramic covering by Venis and the Victoria Diamond Marmara Mirror mosaic by L’Antic Colonial were used for the backsplashes. The fireplace in this area is a recurring decorative element which has also been covered with Moon Glacier Metallic mosaics by L’Antic Colonial.
The three bathrooms which are distributed over the 300 square metre building were the areas where PORCELANOSA Group materials have been used. All of these spaces are characterised for the perfect balance established between classicism and modernity.
The ensuite bathroom in the main bedroom is covered with Nacaré Blanco, Gris and Deco Nacaré ceramic by Venis, thus playing with the white and grey colours, which combined with the furniture, give this space a classic style which is completed with the commodity of a shower plate and the elegance of a Victorian style bathtub. Alaska Grey ceramic parquet by Venis was used for the flooring. Both the inside of the bathroom and the main bedroom have fireplaces which are covered with the Eternity Grey mosaic by L’Antic Colonial, therefore giving the space warmth.
Moon Glacier Metallic Crema by L’Antic Colonial was used for the second bathroom. A band of this fun mosaic with rounded edges and warm colours surround the perimeter of the space.
Marble Carrara Blanco was used in the last bathroom, achieving a more avant-garde style. Oxo Garden Gris was used to define the wash basin area, and as a decorative detail on the inside of the shower. Both of these coverings are ceramic materials by Porcelanosa.
