Until 1 March, the López-Dóriga Palace in Madrid will bring together the latest interior design proposals for the new premium hospitality industry.
The Spanish multinational has designed a suite with the studios Proffetional and Room1804, combining the most cutting-edge decoration with naturally inspired collections.
The López-Dóriga Palace in Madrid (Paseo de Recoletos, 15) will play host to the HotELLE Decoration exhibition to show off the latest trends in hotel interior design until 1 March.
Organised by ELLEDecoration, the event aims to provide a space for reflection and the exchange of ideas so that professionals in the sector can discuss the current landscape in luxury hospitality and the challenges that the sector is facing in the short and medium term. “There is no greater definition of a luxury habitat than the universe of a grand hotel. But the concept of luxury has changed, the public also perceives the special atmosphere that surrounds it and provides substance, intangible aspects such as sustainability or digital development that form the backdrop of today’s comfort,” says Marta Riopérez, Director of HotELLE Decoration.
A presidential suite with PORCELANOSA Group
Among the interior designers who will take part in the event are Lázaro Rosa-Violán, Tomás Alía, Cousi Interiorismo, DavideDavid, Room 1804, Madrid Flower School, and landscape designer Álvaro Sampedro, whose designs will adorn much of the rooms. PORCELANOSA Group will also be present at HotELLE Decoration, with a space created exclusively by Room 1804 and Proffetional.
Just as in a premium suite, the PORCELANOSA Grupo exhibition has made use of the vinyl floor tile Linkfloor Contract Graphite by L’Antic Colonial, with its plaited appearance to make the room lighter. Combined with the sintered mineral compact XTONELiem Black Polished, the premium character of the room is reinforced with the veined black surface that resembles the texture of Marquina marble.
The bathroom in this room is defined by the Slim bathtub from Krion and the NK Concept bathroom fittings from Noken, a complete bathroom solution based on clean and geometric lines.
The Almond collection by Krion™ was chosen for the washbasins. The new generation mineral compact stands out for its high resistance to extreme temperatures, its anti-bacterial properties and the fact it is easy to clean and maintain.
Guided tours, B2B meetings and presentations on hotel design
Digital transformation, customer loyalty and personalised service are some just of the points to be addressed in the discussion areas.
With more than 35 confirmed brands, the first edition of HotELLE Decoration aims to be a networking and meeting platform for interior designers, architects, landscape designers and hoteliers. For this reason, the organisation has planned meetings between brands and experts, round tables, conferences, brand talks, as well as guided tours for professionals or the general public.
“We at ELLE Decoration want to create a community of architects, designers, producers and managers within the premium hotel sector, who share these intentions and exchange their knowledge, always with the elegant spirit that defines the magazine,” concludes Riopérez.
