Panorámica, a residence with a Mediterranean identity and Asian touches

The interior design of this single-family residence offers serenity and tranquillity.

In the Balearic Islands stands a spectacular three-storey house with a unique decorative style, overlooking the sea, the pine forests and the old salterns. The views are of unquestionable beauty, with sunsets that offer a glimpse into the Mediterranean identity of the surroundings.

The renovation of Panorámica respected the original structure, the stonework of the façade, and the entrance to the hall, which is understood to be part of the decoration. The fireplace, covered with L’Antic Colonial’s Gravity Aluminium Trace Gold finish metallic mosaic, is original and elegant.

The decoration in this home relies on a blend of beige, wood and contemporary elements with antique Asian pieces. The result is an ambience that exudes both personality and serenity.

Newport Natural, by Porcelanosa, has been chosen as the general flooring for the interior of the house, with an anti-slip version of the same flooring used on the terrace, the outside stairs, the pool edge, and the pool stairs. With its cement tone and effect, Newport Natural offers a modern yet sophisticated and functional look.

The living room and kitchen (located on the ground floor) merge into a central open-plan space that is filled with light thanks to the large windows that open onto the terrace and the swimming pool. The black kitchen surface (XTONE) creates an excellent contrast within the room.

Natural wood also plays an important role in the interior design of Panorámica through the exposed beams, the kitchen, and various decorative elements in the living room. This material creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In the same way, wood-effect ceramics have been used for the flooring in the access area to the first floor, in the bedrooms, and in the bathrooms (Tanzania Almond, PAR-KER® by Porcelanosa).

It has also been used as wall tiling in the two bathrooms, with the Ice Tanzania Almond finish by Porcelanosa featuring in the shower area or on one of the walls. Butech has been used for the bonding and grouting of the ceramic tiles.

to complement the stone of the original structure of the house, the bathroom has been given a rustic interior design. The Round taps (Noken) in a chrome and matt black finish give a modern touch to complete this atmosphere.
