Since its beginnings, KRION® has been a brand that is defined by its investment in the R&D&I of all its products. A production process that has resulted in new sustainable aspects in all phases that make up the lifecycle of its materials. These new developments are being showcased at the 29th International Exhibition of Architecture and Interior Design as a firm and ongoing commitment to innovation.
At this year’s event, the PORCELANOSA Group company is using its over 2,000 m2 showroom to display its two business lines: Krion PORCELANOSA BATH and Krion® UNLIMITED SURFACES. The space, dedicated to the retail sector and contractors, reflects the sheer versatility of Krion LUX, Fitwall® and Alluslate®, with elements for buffets, restaurants, offices, worktops, signage, cladding, commercial furnishings and display solutions.
In terms of the Krion Porcelanosa Bath line, we can highlight the launch of the complete NER series by Fran Silvestre and the new MARKO screen for SP Bath—practical and aesthetic.
With KRION® Solid as the material chosen thanks to its resistance, uniformity and distinctive white colour, the NER surfaces are characterised by sharp, polyhedral shapes. Its straight lines reveal a washbasin with a fine opening running the length of the basin, which allows the water to drain easily thanks to the slope of the bottom of the basin.
The NER furniture is based on simplicity and functionality. Designed with a single interior drawer in black, its ample storage capacity is enhanced by LED lighting, with neutral and automatic light, on the sides with an opening sensor and battery. Other elements available include the black methacrylate dividers for perfect organisation of the drawer interior. The new column rounds off the collection by enhancing the surface available for bathroom storage thanks to the many glass shelves inside.
The Marko screen is characterised by its simple lines. Made up of an anodised aluminium side profile, with a high shine finish, it provides lightness. Its design and structure is reinforced with 6 mm transparent tempered glass. Its technical characteristics make it more practical than other screens. With a folding and lifting mechanism, Marko allows openings of -90º, 0º and 90º and the extendible and adjustable tensioners allow greater adaptability.
In addition, its System Glass treatment prevents the appearance of limescale or soap marks, making it easy to clean.
