New Lifestyle magazine issue: 2017’s successes and the latest innovations for 2018

Among the 2017 highlights, we find important openings that reaffirm the great year that the PORCELANOSA Grupo had at international level. The inauguration of the new showroom in New Delhi, India, and the market entry in Sydney, Australia, have marked a turning point in what will be a 2018 full of territorial growth.

It is worth mentioning the interview that Emilio Tuñon, an architect awarded with the FAD prize for architecture and the International Spanish Architecture Award, has done for the new edition of Lifestyle. Emilio highlights the possibilities offered by Porcelanosa in terms of ceramic finishes, as well as offering his current vision about contemporary architecture.

Looking ahead to 2018, we review the Asian trend that arrives stronger than ever. The designers Ben Wu, Gwenael Nicolas, Ray Chou and Zeng Qiling, reveal some clues about the style coming from the east and their vision regarding the inclusion which this trend will have in the contemporary framework.

Cersaie, the International Fair in Bologna where the latest trends in ceramics all come together, has once again had the presence of the PORCELANOSA Grupo. At an imposing stand, the latest innovations by Porcelanosa and Venis were showcased in floor tiles with natural and classic inspiration, as well as the most cutting-edge mosaics by L’Antic Colonial. Gamadecor showcased the best materials for bathroom furniture finishes, and Butech discovered the latest innovations in shower systems at ground level. Besides, Systempool exhibited the latest applications of its KRION® Solid Surface material, while Noken showcased its contemporary-inspired bathroom line. Urbatek, the last brand to make up the stand, impressed again with the latest innovations from its prestigious XLight series.

During 2017, the PORCELANOSA Grupo has participated in important architecture and interior design projects done by professionals who have relied on its firms for new designs and refurbishments.

Among them, the Zafiro Palace Hotel stands out, with a clear orientation towards quality tourism, or the STAATS hotel and restaurant, which is now one of the coolest places in Amsterdam. The Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort, is another example of how the CHG group (Construcciones Hispano Germanas) entrusts its facilities to Porcelanosa.

For 2018, the PORCELANOSA Grupo will participate in a major project with 109 homes that will have the XLight material and the Manhattan wall tiles, in Pont de Fusta, Valencia.

A Special mention goes out to the refurbishment of the Estadio de la Cerámica, the former “Madrigal”. Villa-Real FC’s ground focuses on the quality ceramic material and the massive change in its facilities.
