Innovation is Gamadecor's main theme at the 29th edition of the Porcelanosa International Exhibition. The new collections of kitchen, bathroom and living area furniture feature modern and functional design, which adapts to different decorative styles.
Nowadays, the kitchen is one of the most important spaces in the house, being the main meeting point for family and social gatherings. This room is open to others, such as the living room or dining room. It also moves to the outdoors, becoming a fundamental piece for the upgrading of homes. The model proposed by Gamadecor, Offroad Kitchen, was awarded at the Good Design Awards in 2022.
The interiors of the Offroad Kitchen fronts are made of aluminium panels. The exterior cladding comes in ceramic or Krion®, concealing the appliances from view. The material is strong and durable enough to withstand the elements.
In terms of Gamadecor's innovative and technological design, we have to mention Smart Kitchen, the smart kitchen model with a totally invisible dual technology induction hob. The countertop works, by means of a touchscreen interface, as a stove top or for charging household electronics, with no need for cables or batteries. A solution that offers advantages in terms of cleanliness and aesthetics, increasing the available surface space.
The firm is also expanding its catalogue with new metallic lacquers (silver, aluminium and bronze) and new finishes from XTONE##2##, applied to countertops and kitchen fronts.
Gamadecor extends its proposal for bathroom furniture. The new Smile series with the grooved wood veneer front, allows for multiple design combinations that add lightness and enhance the sense of space. These modules can be installed independently of the main washbasin unit, allowing for a customised configuration and achieving a modern and functional ambience. The firm has launched an online application for planning bathroom spaces, arranging furniture in the desired position and generating a 3D image.
In the Living section, the firm presents new colours and finishes for the upholstery of armchairs, sofas and chairs. The collection of wardrobes and dressing rooms is expanded with the Fusion model, which can fully adapt to the customers' needs.
Faithful to its commitment to caring for the environment and its aim to boost its energy independence, the PORCELANOSA Group firm has developed a large photovoltaic installation. A total of 1,970 solar panels have been installed on the roof of the production centre, equivalent to an output of 800 kWp and capable of generating 1,000,000 kWh annually. This way, 20% of the total energy demand of the plant can be met. The solar energy installation is one of the largest self-consumption plants in the furniture manufacturing sector in Spain.
Gamadecor's commitment to technological innovation in its kitchens has been materialised in the construction of a new, fully automated production plant for the cutting, edging and machining of slabs. This new line, which has received an investment of nine million euros, allows greater flexibility for the production of customised and made-to-order kitchens. Equipped with the latest technology, the new 1700 m2 centre is capable of producing up to 1500 pieces per day.
