The PORCELANOSA Grupo firm of large-scale format floor tiles and wall tiles, Urbatek, offers new solutions for architecture and interior design by means of the launching of a new collection of its through-body porcelain tile: COVER collection.
Urbatek adapts to the most crucial trends regarding interior design thanks to this through-body porcelain which is included in its catalogue of full-body products, in other words, a large-scale format wall tile with a concrete formwork appearance. Its originality lies on the basis of an appearance which has been inspired by the rough wood veneers, but with the quality and properties of the highly resistant through-body porcelain from the PORCELANOSA Grupo.
Specially aimed at sophisticated modern industrial-styled spaces, the cement appearance COVER collection is available in three colour tones with a wide graphic solution in each of them. It stands out because of its multiple shades, the same as wood. When closely examined, it is not only possible to see its knot-marks as well as its streaks, but also its differences tones, because of the corrosion of the metal structures in every piece.
The three tones in the through-body porcelain tile COVER collection are the following: COVER Silver, COVER Steel and COVER Dark. In a lighter colour tone, COVER Silver provides the atmosphere with brightness and elegance through its silver-grey colour. COVER Steel, however, intensifies its tone up to a medium grey and has a different rust gradation and even a unique effect of lights and shadows. Lastly, but not by any means less important, COVER Dark is the large-scale format wall tile with a darker tone, in a weathered concrete vintage appearance finish.
Each and every design of this through-body porcelain is presented in a 22x90cm tableting format. Its matte but rough-textured surface makes it become an ideal option full of charm and naturalness for floor and wall tiles.
As in every technical ceramics series by Urbatek, the COVER collection turns out to be perfect for wall tiling in highly-demanding spaces, ranging from interiors to exteriors and even residential, commercial and high-traffic spaces.
The COVER series was one of the latest designs which were presented by Urbatek at Cersaie 2015, the Ceramics International Fair in Bologne. Architects and interior designers let themselves be seduced by such a highly versatile, aesthetically exquisite and long-lasting through-body porcelain.
