Gran Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa, a paradise hotel on the Sicilian coast

This five-star establishment in Campofelice di Roccella (Palermo) marks the start of the hotel group's expansion into Italy, and features standout natural collections by PORCELANOSA.

Designed to be a paradise oasis opening out to the sea, the Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa (Campofelice di Roccella, Palermo) benefits from a prime beachfront location, four freshwater swimming pools and five restaurants (Chang Thai, El Dorado, Portofino, Xtra and Time Sports Bar). Guests can sample traditional Sicilian cuisine, avant-garde Asian food or the most innovative signature cocktails of the moment.

The five-star hotel complex is in perfect harmony with the setting, and the exotic design with Mediterranean flavours is perfectly integrated into the unspoilt landscape with Premium collections from PORCELANOSA Group. This was the concept Palladium Group and interior design studio U Interior followed for the bedrooms, suites and shared areas, where Porcelanosa's natural textures are blended seamlessly with the island's local materials.

A reworking of 'La Dolce Vita' with local input

The main objective for Italy's first Palladium Group hotel was to combine brutalist architecture, luxury and local craftsmanship under the same overarching concept. This is why they opted for sober yet warm materials, such as Porcelanosa's Smart Tanzania White ceramic parquet (flooring throughout) that echoes the texture and sheen of wood, entering into a dialogue with its natural surroundings.

Tanzania Natural is another ceramic range that recreates the tone of natural wood, which has been used to pave the restaurants along with AC5 Cross Luxor Straw hexagonal look laminate by L'ac.

Pilar García (U Interior Design): "We've brought the outdoor nature indoors, with neutral tones and black accents to add contrast and strength"

The bathrooms feature the colour white and symmetrical forms. Krion® Lux Snow White 1100 mineral compact plays a leading role in this scheme, used to shape the countertop. With its bacteriostatic properties, zero porosity, imperceptible joints and high resistance, it makes the area safer, more hygienic and easier to clean. Noken's Round mixer taps in a metallic finish complete the overall look, along with the Yove shower screen by Krion and Slate shower tray by Noken, extending towards the bedroom.
