The Museum of Architecture and Design, ‘the Chicago Athenaeum’, acknowledges the innovative and creative Duna bathroom furniture design and the mobile panels which can be found in the E4.00 kitchen.
This event has banked on contemporary and sustainable designs regarding materials and furniture for eight decades.
The Chicago Athenaem Museum of Architecture has given an award to the E4.00 kitchen mobile panels and the Duna bathroom furniture from Gamadecor because of the innovative, sustainable and carefully-worked design. In this way, the company specialised in kitchens belonging to PORCELANOSA Group has picked up two Good Design Awards, therefore consolidating itself as one of the leading companies in this edition.
Created in 1950 by some distinguished figures such as Edgar Kaufmann Jr, Russel Wright and Charles and Ray Eames; the Good Design awards have recognised innovation, sustainability, creativity and environmentally-friendly ecological designs for more than seven decades. Four key principles which have made it possible for 40.000 companies and initiatives to make a social achievement out of the design.
Sophisticated practical kitchens
Belonging to the E4.00 kitchen, the mobile panels offer a large work area where stools and chairs can be added in order to be used as a big table. This piece counts on a spice shelf and a sliding door manufactured with KrionTM which allows it to be hidden, leaving the area clear depending on user preferences. In this way, more space is gained for cooking and trying out new tastes, flavours and textures.
The Duna bathroom furniture is characterised by its contemporary lines and the fusion of the material. In this way, the aluminium sheet is combined in the same structure with the Portobello natural granite basin, whose cut is cut to size depending on the project.
A design which makes people’s quality of life better.
