ISKÖ: a French alpine hotel with a Scandinavian touch

This warm French alpine hotel was a finalist in the 2nd edition of the PORCELANOSA INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS AWARDS

In the Pyrenees, 700 meters from the picturesque ski resort of Gourette, lies ISKÖ BaseCamp and Hôtel. This resort consists of 45 wooden chalets, making it the perfect holiday destination for families and experienced mountaineers.

The hotel complex has an outdoor swimming pool and a terrace with views of the Ossau valley. The French alpine hotel ISKÖ is the ideal place to relax and unwind. It consists of 43 private and communal chalets, as well as the BaseCamp, a large space to enjoy with family and friends.

The interior designer Charlotte Vallon has redesigned interior spaces, transforming them into welcoming environments with a Scandinavian feel. The cement effect of the flooring in the common areas, Bottega Topo (Porcelanosa), gives the rooms a modern look.

This model can thus be found in the reception, restaurant, bar area and rest area. The Bottega Topo style combines perfectly with the different structural and decorative elements in wood.

For the bathrooms in the bedrooms, the stone effect models Image Cream and Image Dark (Porcelanosa) have been used. All these spaces have a double washbasin with the integrated countertop by Krion® Lux. In addition to the personalized shower trays with Krion® and the Square faucets (Noken).

For the guests’ comfort, the rooms are completed with a Square mirror and Contracts towel dryer, by Noken. The mix of white and chrome details gives the spaces a sense of cleanliness and clarity.
