The professional category of the 7th Architecture and Interior Design Awards had exceptional participants, such as architect Fernando Vázquez Arteaga, a great connoisseur of Porcelanosa Group’s products. The designer’s experience allowed him to develop this modern showroom.
Under the slogan “The Impact of Nature”, the architect outlined the creation of a new space for professionals and users looking for a solution for the future, bringing together the products and materials of the eight firms of the Group.
In order to do this, Arteaga made the most of the available space in the exhibition area. Thus, the front of the building’s facade uses a system which implements constructive solutions by Butech. The same can be seen in the interior of the facilities, where organic forms made from materials by the different firms express the company’s commitment to using advanced technology to offer ecological solutions.
The exterior is laid out in two levels connected by stairs, making the tour a different experience which gives the products an artistic dimension. As well as the reception, cafeteria and toilets, the ground floor is dedicated to the display of materials by L’Antic Colonial, Gamadecor and Krion®; while the designer has dedicated the upper section to exhibiting ceramic flooring and coverings by Venis, Porcelanosa and Urbatek, as well as bathroom fittings and taps by Noken.
Arteaga has created a wide, multifunctional space, capable of holding conferences and temporary exhibitions and which adapts to the needs of professionals.
