At EmiLU Design Hotel, everything is designed to make guests feel at home. Located in the heart of the historic centre of Stuttgart (Germany) and just a few metres from the Town Hall and Schlossplatz (Palace Square), the interior of the hotel, custom designed by the architects Blocher Partners, reflects the cosmopolitan and traveller spirit of its founder: Petra Luis Bräutigam.
With its name, EmiLU, the hotel embodies the spirit of the founder and his daughter Emilia. In its carefully designed architecture (Wolf Architekten) and decoration, red, pink and green tones dominate, and combine with golden, bluish and ochre hues, velvety textiles and industrial-style lamps.
A colourful interior design full of contrasts
With its eclectic design, the seemingly antagonistic elements (such as the combination of cold and warm tones, and stone furniture with futuristic rhombus-shaped mirrors) create a balanced harmony throughout the hotel's 90 bedrooms, three conference rooms, Rooftop Lounge and Fritz multisensory restaurant with character.
Adapted to all types of travellers (from those who want to disconnect for a few days to those who settle in to get to know the city and its customs), the hotel also offers various wellbeing services and facilities. The fitness centre and sauna can be accessed directly from the lift on each floor.
An oriental sauna with Bottega stoneware tiles by Porcelanosa
Inspired by ancient Eastern temples, this section combines grey, black and brown tones with Bottega stoneware tiles in Topo shade by Porcelanosa. This cement-textured material creates an infinite labyrinth effect and modulates the orange lights hanging from ceiling.
