The compact sintered mineral developed by Urbatek is now available in a series of new colours ranging from sky blue to the purest white.
The PORCELANOSA Group company is researching other finishes and formats to create light, open spaces.
Urbatek has taken the brilliance of traditional marble and transformed its use with three new XTONE collections in more intense dynamic colours: Macauba Blue, Calacatta Green and Alpi Verde.
Full-colour marble
The PORCELANOSA Group company exhibited its new products at the 27th International Exhibition of Global Architecture & Interior Design, presenting them in different settings. United by the common theme of nature, the collections on display highlighted the four classical elements at the heart of the universe: fire, earth, air and water.
In the Macauba Blue collection, for example, seams of orange run through its sky blue and cobalt tones, giving a greater sensation of space and allowing for combinations of two or four different pieces.
The same is true of Calacatta Green, whose green veins recall the branches of trees and help to create a sensation of light and space, in each of its formats: 150 cm x 300 cm, 120 cm x 250 cm and 120 cm x 120 cm.
Alpi Verde also uses green to good effect, in its own way. Its whitish veins add delicate detail to its dark green colour, bringing an elegant balance to the decoration of a room.
The pieces in this collection can be used for flooring or wall tiles, and bring a light, natural touch to Art Deco and Brutalist interiors.
Past and present come together in XTONE.
