Let’s take a look at a modern home in Madrid, in which its owners, lovers of contemporary design and cutting edge technology, wanted to include some of the most advanced products and materials by PORCELANOSA Grupo.
The notable industrial air of the style of the home is notable in each of its five floors, and in its five kitchens, in which we find the significant presence of Krion®. Furthermore, in the bathrooms, various elements of the Mood collection by Noken have been included.
Among all the kitchens, the outdoor area draws particular attention, notable for PORCELANOSA Group’s solid surface, where Krion® Stone has been used to create both the coverings and insides of the units, as well as the worktop. This kitchen integrates a barbeque and a double height island with movable sides which move to create a bridge with the sink area. All of this achieves a functional and durable solution which is very suitable for enjoying this open air space.
Moreover, for the rest of the kitchens in the home, coverings made of Krion® Lux Negro with mitred upper edges have been chosen, continuing the design which is very similar to the Gamadecor G-490 kitchen. The design has been completed with steel countertops and different models of sink taps by Noken, among them the Loop taps, included in the main kitchen located on the top floor of the house.
In the bathrooms, various toilets from the Mood collection have been installed, designed by the Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and Luis Vidal + Architects studios for Noken, made from Krion® Strawberry, Yellow, and an orange tone created exclusively for the project. The electronic taps of the Mood collection were also included in one of the bathrooms, created by Luis Vidal + Architects, combined with wall-hung units and a countertop made from PORCELANOSA Group’s compact mineral. Additionally, in another of the house’s bathrooms, the Lounge wall-mounted mixer tap was included, in a combined black and white finish designed by Simone Micheli for Noken.
