Venis expands its Nara ceramic covering collection with two oriental-inspired versions which come with patterns that are similar to the famous Zen gardens: Nara Basic and Dalia.
The new collection designs have grooved reliefs which are similar to raked sand patterns in dry landscape gardens, also known as Karesansui gardens which were used by Japanese Zen monks as spaces to meditate.
The Dalia model is also based on the same undulating groove as the Nara covering by Venis, which also introduces decorative elements of plants which sprout with stylish stalks. Attractive and pleasant to touch ornamental pieces are achieved.
In comparison to the original covering, the Nara Basic model comes with straight grooved lines, achieving a more balanced and sober effect, without losing its attractive texture.
The Nara model and the new Nara Basic and Dalia designs come in a 33.3x100cm format and three colours: Natural, Blanco and Beige. These soft colours create serenity and harmony, which are typical features of Zen philosophy.
