Work started on the new offices in Jiaonan (China) at the beginning of last month. This striking environmentally friendly project will use Krion®, the solid surface by PORCELANOSA Group in its construction.
The most advanced technology in energy efficiency is going to be used for the Yung Ding Guo Ji Tower. A nature-inspired avant-garde Krion® façade and solar panels will be installed.
The RLA and OSA architecture studios are responsible for this project which will create a green area in a society that needs to make development and growth compatible with certain ecological criteria.
The nature deficit in the city led the studios to distribute several green areas and vegetation zones over different parts of the construction. Moreover, the building’s energy efficiency was boosted by means of skylights and natural ventilation, therefore saving energy.
The visual impact of the building is going to be minimised as the architects have made plans for a similar height apartment building on a nearby street, further highlighting the large tower which rises on the corner of the building.
