The 11th Porcelanosa Awards: Ceramic skin which changes with the products from the PORCELANOSA Group

The Regla Soto Interiors architecture studio has become a finalist in the category of Professional Forward-Looking Projects. Its design for the central showroom in Vila-real incorporates marble-textured wall tiles and stone-effect floor tiles from Porcelanosa.

The Regla Soto Interiores studio in Madrid is a finalist in the category of professional Forward-Looking Projects at the 11th Architecture and Interior Design Awards with its design for the PORCELANOSA Group’s central showroom.

We are dealing with a project made up of eight areas (four of them open and the other four closed) where the different materials from the Grupo are showcased through a skin formed by folding display panels.

A touch experience with Butech

Each of these pieces favours a complete immersion in the atmospheres from the PORCELANOSA Group. Their fixation, through the building systems from Butech, and LED lighting in both upper and lower parts enhance a touch and visual experience with the materials from the eight firms.

In the centre of the space, a dome makes the most of the natural light to light up an amphitheatre which works as a connecting link between the different points in the place. The luminous signs incorporated here allow the visitor to know exactly where they are, as well as recognising every single firm from the Grupo, together with the exhibition and conference rooms.

Ceramic homogeneity in white and black

The wall tile inspired by white marble and the Samoa stony floor tile in dark black from Porcelanosa, provide the showroom with lightness. Colour homogeneity which increases the constructive balance of this space.
