Porcelanosa premieres its space in the metaverse with a new experiential concept

The multinational joins the virtual reality experience along with other firms such as Balenciaga, Gucci, Nike and Samsung, among others.

The ceramics company Porcelanosa is immersing itself in the world of the metaverse with the aim of adapting to new cutting-edge proposals and remaining a leader in the creation of design spaces.

Decentraland is the platform where Porcelanosa has introduced itself and its projects. It represents a global community of users sharing a virtual world, which can be accessed from different devices such as mobile phones, tablets or virtual reality headsets.

Porcelanosa moves into the metaverse by recreating the emblematic Commodore Criterion building in Manhattan. Here, users can find news from the different firms, events with professionals, product information and access to the group’s website. Around the building, there is a yellow corporate vehicle and representative billboard to enhance the company’s iconic image.

Given that the new generations make up the majority of metaverse users, Porcelanosa has made it one of its targets to raise awareness about the importance of committing to sustainable behaviour and commitment to the environment.

The Spanish company joins large firms that are already part of this digital world, such as Netflix, Balenciaga and Porsche.
