The Travertino technical porcelain tile for floors by Porcelanosa

Owing to the excellent acceptance of the Travertino Collection for the ceramic laminate Xlight, the firm, Urbatek, has carried out an expansion of the series with a totally new version for floor tiles that are able to maintain the same aesthetic of the ultra-thin wall tiles, but with the high performance of the through-body porcelain.

The XLIGHT sheets are now available in sizes of 100 x 300 cm y 50 x 100 cm, with a minimum thickness of 3.5 mm, and they are now equal to two new formats of 59.6 x 59.6 cm y 45 x 90cm, with thicknesses of 10.4 mm y 11 mm, respectively. Urbatek, in this way, guarantees optimum results and durable ones too for this new floor tile series, which comply with the same technical requirements as the rest of the ceramic tiles by Porcelanosa.The intense veined longitudinal, a familiar characteristic of Travertino marble has inspired the design of this complete technical ceramic collection of floor tiles and wall tiles, that now can be installed on floors and on walls in the same room so that a more uniform end result can be achieved, and furthermore, they are able to transmit a classic elegance of natural stone. They can be used separately, both as a floor tile or a wall tile in every type of room.At the moment, the Porcelanosa specialist wall tiles as well as the extra-slim porcelain wall tile XLight from the Travertino collection are to be presented in beige only, also with a Nature finish that reproduces perfectly the pleasant feel of natural stone.In order to be able to get both modern and dynamic results, floor tiles from the Travertino collection can now be installed alternating the positioning of the pieces, therefore creatinga chequered effect that matches the direction of the veined patterns, ideal for configuring the most elegant of modern day bathroom. Whereas the laying of the pieces only has one direction so to speak, it has a calmer and more sober look, perfect for creating warm and cosy bedrooms.
