The Bespoke Tulum redefines sustainable luxury on the Caribbean Seafront

The ambitious project, located in front of the Caribbean, combines contemporary design, Mayan cosmology and sustainability.

The Bespoke Tulum redefines architecture and real estate in the Caribbean coastal city of Tulum, Mexico. It is not simply a residential-hotel complex, but a dialogue with the history, culture and unique natural environment of the region.

Located on the beachfront, The Bespoke Tulum has 22 exclusive flats. Over an area of more than 3,800 square metres, the architectural ensemble and the interior design of the spaces are contemporary, while at the same time cultural and natural local elements. As a point of contrast, in the bathrooms, a single-lever mixer tap with a matt black finish (Rondo model, by Noken) has been chosen.

Inspired by Mayan cosmology, the design reflects the narrative of the Popol Vuh, which connects the celestial and terrestrial worlds of the ancient Maya. Sacred ceiba trees, symbolising the link between heaven and earth, form an integral part of the architecture, creating a tangible connection to the stars and surrounding nature.

The layout of the complex resembles a game of Tetris, with flats of different sizes and levels harmoniously integrated into the landscape. The Bespoke emphasises sustainability and uses local materials and traditional building techniques to minimise environmental impact.

More than a luxury real estate project, The Bespoke Tulum honours the cultural heritage and natural beauty of the region. The ambience of the spaces invites visitors to connect with the timeless wisdom and breathtaking landscape of Tulum.
