We start the 9th Architecture and Interior Design Porcelanosa Awards jurors’ introduction with an international leading figure, the RPW Design Managing Director: Ariane Steinbeck.
A graduate of the Hotel Administration School at Cornell University, New York, and with big worldwide projects already under her belt, Ariane Steinbeck offers from the renowned design studio in East London, RPW Design, her wide experience in the interior design field as well as her knowledge, style, talent and personality. Before landing in London, the professional designer, Ariane Steinbeck, improved both her skills and passion for creating works of art in cities such as Chicago, Miami, Hong Kong or the Middle East. From each of these places she absorbed their essence, moving it to larger projects by which she has already been internationally recognized, such as the Peninsula Hotel Flagship – The Peninsula Hong Kong refurbishment; the Seine Bar and the Arabelle Restaurant at the Athenee Square in New York or numerous commercial and residential projects throughout China and Southeast Asia. Because of these projects, Steinbeck has been included in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the CNN or the Asia Bloomberg TV.
Today, under the RPW general managing Design, the renowned professional Ariane Steinbeck works in overseeing important projects in the UK such as 47 Park Street in London; a Hilton series in London’s Dockland; the illustrious Fairmont Hotel in St. Andrews or the historic Marriott County Hall.
In addition to her work as a Managing Director at RPW Design, Ariane Steinbeck works and regularly collaborates as both a speaker and judge at lectures, events and awards related to both the design and the hotel industry. Furthermore, she is involved in publications, preparing notes on customer level trends and expectations in many renowned trade publications.
In 2016, at the ninth edition of Porcelanosa Awards, Steinbeck will sit on the jury with Julio Touza, from Touza Arquitectos; Jean Jacques Ory, from STUDIOS D’ARCHITECTURE ORY & Associés, and Ramon Esteve, from Ramón Esteve Arquitectura y Diseño. All of them will take part in the evaluation of the projects presented in two categories: Future Projects and Completed Projects.
Remember that this contest is open to architects, interior designers and students from any school. To take part in the ninth edition of the PORCELANOSA Group Awards, you may submit the projects both for completed projects and the concept store design before next April 4.
