The Architecture and Interior Design awards will count on the call of an international board of judges, who will be in charge of deliberating the value of each presented project. One of the members of the competition judges, organised by PORCELANOSA Group will be the architect, Jordan Goldstein.
After finishing his Architectural studies, Goldstein joined Gensler in 1996, and then, some 7 years later, became a director in the Washington DC studio. As well as running a team of more than 300 people, the American architect is a member of the board of directors and management committee.Goldstein’s passion for innovation is reflected is all of his work, now being in projects such as architecture, working spaces and product design. This fact has brought him some of the most prestigious international awards, amongst them various AIA prizes, IIDA and Good Design, as well as the Best of NeoCon Gold and various Silver Awards.His dramatic rise has put him on the lists as one the best present day architects which was carried out by related experts from the press. The Building Design and Construction magazine and The Washington Journal have both recommended him as one the top “40-under-40” designers around. Also, Metropolitan magazine has noted the intelligence of his designs naming him as one the most respected modern architects in Washington D.C.Presently, Goldstein is working on 2 big international projects and they are the first headquarters for an American University abroad, a new campus for the Duke of Kunshan university, and the design of the new twin towers that stand at 750 feet in height in the centre of Peking, both of them are in China. On a more local level, he is putting together a project in relation to reusing a 23 story building in Tysons Corner, Tysons Tower in Virginia, as well as taking part in various projects related to the construction of various new buildings in the state of Washington D.C.Bear in mind that if you want to take part in the 8th Architecture and Interior Design awards, you have to make a provisional booking and send us your design before April 13th.
