We continue our journey with the project finalists from the last edition of the Architecture and Interior Design Awards by PORCELANOSA Group in order to tie up the RODMAN MUSE 74 in Manuel Salvador Muñoz’s project, a designer developing his work with simplicity and huge professionalism in Valencia, and furthermore, he has sorted out the challenge of redecorating this yacht whilst making use of the materials from the firms that form a part of Porcelanosa.
Manuel Salvador proposes a future inside based on an aesthetic minimalism and an arrangement providing any room with spaciousness so as to get a higher level of comfort.
Together with the integration of the lighting in the KRION® Solid Surface in both a neat and joint less way, the domination of curved lines is present in order to give continuity to the materials applied among the different finish levels. The result is a feeling of unity and deepness as well as the creation of an almost cosmic future design thanks to a material which is characterised by its malleability and by allowing for customised shapes which fit into any space.
To be precise, the design combines KRION® Stone White in a matt finish on walls and floors, with KRION® Night Nature and KRION® Extreme Light (Light Lux series) in order to have the lighting integrated.
On the other hand, ceilings are covered with Wet Plus laminated natural wood in Anthracite grey by L’Antic Colonial and metallic steel Grid demountable ceilings by the firm specialised in Butech building systems.
The design of the main cabin’s bathroom is remarkable because of its wall covering in Oxo Line Blanco volumetric finish and the Porcelanosa anthracite Arizona mosaics on a floor with Urbatek through-body porcelain tile in a dark grey square format. With regard to the bathroom furniture the architecture studio has opted for the Ciclo design in an oak finish with a recessed basin by Gamadecor, in line with the bathroom taps and sanitarywares by Noken bathroom equipment.
In the outdoor area of the deck and terrace, the chosen flooring is the Styledeck Plus Grey outdoor decking by L’Antic Colonial, which ensures a maximum durability outdoors, which is what makes it perfectly suitable for vessels. Furthermore, by manipulating KRION® sheets, an outdoor customised furniture has been created.
An avant-garde design which was up to the level of being a finalist at the 8th Porcelanosa Awards forward-looking projects.
