The club house in Shaoxing, China features a grey and beige design accented by natural and ceramic textures: a modern reinterpretation of traditional Eastern architecture featuring some of PORCELANOSA's most exclusive collections.
Sport and leisure, united by design
The three-floor sports and meeting room facility has lecture rooms, eight bedrooms, two swimming pools, an open-plan kitchen and 11 bathrooms. The building opens out to the exterior, allowing natural light to stream into every room, and the Nantes Ceriza collection by PORCELANOSA, used throughout the building, lends a sense of space and balance. Inspired by the colour and texture of limestone, this series stands out for its large format and realistic design, creating stunning contrasts of light and shade as it interacts with the black volumetric staircase leading to the upper level. The main rooms are found on this floor, including the open-plan industrial style kitchen, with Metropolitan Antracita floor tiles by PORCELANOSA. The collection enhances the sheen of the navy blue walls, directing the eye to the central island with its infinite black worktop.
On the second floor, a long corridor in white and sand hues (Bottega Caliza floor tiles by PORCELANOSA), leads on to one of the spectacular bathrooms - one of the club's most Zen spaces. The space breathes calm, with relaxing, neutral tones and creative accents like the Prada Acero mosaic tiles by PORCELANOSA used with floor tiles from the same range.
