A diaphanous, well-proportioned home in Almerimar

Refurbished by architecture studio Pedro Lirola, the bright design is bolstered by the neutral colour palette. In the main rooms, white, dark green, beige and brown are the standout colours, and the sense of harmony is reinforced by the AC6 Natural 1L Mystic laminate by L'ac, the main flooring in the living-dining room.

Diaphanous design tailored to wellness

The interplay of white and brown hues comes to a peak in the living room, with Dover Caliza by PORCELANOSA. They used the ceramic stone to zone the space, separating the reading corner from the kitchen and snug area (in turn framed by a large three-seater sofa and gas fire with imitation stone fireplace), and forming a backlit raised floor extending to the dining table and terrace.

Two green upholstered armchairs and an industrial metal floor lamp grace the reading corner - the perfect design for wellness and comfort, open and free from any partitions. "Whilst the dining and living room areas share a common space, they're zoned into two distinct areas by the raised flooring in the dining area, with large glass doors leading on to a generous terrace", explains the Lirola team.

A minimalist bathroom integrated into the bedroom

Featuring a centrally-positioned bed with a headboard that serves as the dressing room wall, the bedroom ushers in natural light through the grey and light brown tones used in combination with light cotton textiles. The bathrooms feature Nantes Caliza wall tiles (master) and Dover Caliza (guest) by Porcelanosa, installed using grout materials by Butech.

In the centre of the bathroom, the stone washbasin and Round taps by Noken in a matt black finish provide a stunning focal point. By using the Finish Studio aesthetic, these sustainable bathroom elements can be perfectly integrated with the overall look.

The partial glass shower screen comes with a Line shower tray in taupe, made in Krion Shell®. The material, with a high mineral content and 5% recycled PET makes for improved bathroom health and safety thanks to its excellent resistance, practically zero porosity and easy cleaning.
