The hospitality sector is revived with the Porcelanosa collections

Offering a personalised experience through interior design, flexible services and improved communication between hotels and their guests are some of the main measures being implemented to bolster the sector.

The Hospitality sector is at a crossroads due to the COVID-19 health crisis. This situation has led to the reformulation of the services offered and of the concept of "hotel", with digitalisation, design, sustainability and communication with guests becoming key to the revival of this market.

As a result of this situation, PORCELANOSA Group has stepped up its efforts to improve the quality and technical qualities of its collections with more realistic finishes that lend each space a greater sense of nature and integrity.

Here we talk about the PORCELANOSA Group collections that will define the future of hotels.

Warmth and well-being with PAR-KER® ceramic wood

Porcelanosa has bolstered its technological actions to improve the use and design of its ceramic collections. Testament to this is the ceramic wood  Vancouver Sand from PAR-KER®. Its pieces resemble the grains of natural wood, but they are stronger due to the technical properties of ceramic.

Qualities that give it greater resistance to high temperatures, impacts or chemicals. In addition, its sustainable nature (95% recycled material) and its rich composition (22 different graphics) mean it can adapt to any project without changing the appearance.

A similar line runs through Devon . This large-format porcelain with slats of up to 180 cm enhances the natural light of the roomsthrough its aged appearance and flexibility, as it can be used for flooring, walls or as a decorative element.

Hotels that are looking for a more authentic touch or that want to unify different areas with the same design can do so with Tanzania Nut & White. This ceramic wood in 25 cm x 150 cm, 22 cm x 90 cm and 14.3 cm x 90 cm formats (also available in a non-slip version) stands out for its grains and natural shine, and it combines perfectly with other collections like the Rivoli wall tile, which reproduces the texture of marble, or the Vela collection, which resembles centennial stone in its four colours : Ahumado, Natural, Grey and Black, enhancing the space between areas.

From stone to ceramic with 'Verbier'

Nature-inspired design is one of the hallmarks of Porcelanosa. As well as reproducing the shades of the wood, the firm has also launched a line of stone ceramics that can improve the appearance and aesthetic possibilities of a hotel.Attributes offered by the Verbier collection Its finish simulates natural erosion in three shades: Dark,  Silver and Sand, and it can be used on floors or walls.

Its two decorations (Thao and Samui) lighten spaces thanks to their undulating and pyramidal designs that transform walls in the true artistic murals.

Another collection that simulates natural stone is Berna . It is replete with nuance and chromatic shifts that range from warmer shades to more neutral colours.

Due to its large-format (120 cm x 120 cm and 59.6 cm x 59.6 cm), and its use puts an end to boundaries between areas and enhances that sensation of infinite space turning each hotel into an icon of design.
