The PORCELANOSA Group’s firm, L’Antic Colonial, has recently extended its Revival collection, a series which is both original and authentic, and it includes three new models of European oakwood: Revival 1L Dun, Revival 1L Mahogany and Revival 1L Ocher.
This extension of the Revival collection is characterised by its ability to revive the purest essence of the forest in the house itself, and this is carried out by means of its characteristic knots and cracks, which are some of the distinctive features and faults which are usually provided by wood. In fact, knots are those parts of the trunk where the base of a branch is born. When carving the slats in a trunk, the latter remains uncovered, and according to the cutting angle, its shape is shown, either in a herringbone, round or oval pattern.
These alleged ‘flaws’ typical of natural wood where one piece is different from the other, are the ones which provide atmospheres with an extra dose of warmth, style and personality. The natural ageing in wood also has an influence in the spaces with character, thus, providing that appreciated classical touch which the course of time entails.
In order to favour its easy maintenance, the Revival series of L’Antic Colonial gets a special treatment based on oil and wax. In addition to this, the collection includes a bevel in the four sides of the slat, with the aim of highlighting its size.
With regard to the format, Revival consists of a 22x220x2 cm multi-layered natural parquet, whose thickness is a 6 mm noble layer. Because of its design, naturalness and fineness, this collection of L’Antic Colonial turns out to be ideal for interior designs with high distinction and warm character. Interior spaces where wood leaves traces of its own origin.
The series in Revival natural wood is included in the L’Antic Colonial showroom, together with other outstanding collections and designs.
