Verizon, the company specialised in technology solutions and wireless services has chosen the PORCELANOSA Group in order to achieve modern elegant finishes in its flagship store in Chicago. Located in the busy Michigan Avenue, it is one of the main shopping areas of the city, and also known as the Magnificent Mile.
The Chute Gerdeman Studio, in association with DSI contractors, is in charge of the facilities refurbishment by adapting the existing space with the aim of making the user’s experience easier, in other words, by including sport and fitness areas, music, games, security camera footage and energy management devices.
With the aim of accommodating a cosy space, and characterised by a modern fresh appearance, Par-ker® Oxford Castaño ceramic parquet by Porcelanosa has been selected as the general flooring as part of the new facilities. A material with a warm appearance, and with simple maintenance and easy-to-clean properties, it offers the resistance of porcelain tiles when the levels of pedestrian traffic are high, such as a shopping premises similar to this one.
Regarding the bathrooms in the Verizon store, one can also find some of the most innovative materials of the Group’s firms, such as Krion® solid surface , having been used to tile some of the bathroom walls with Krion® Happy Red, providing the traditional finishes and materials with energy.
With regard to the equipping of the bathroom, ceramic washbasins (Neox collection) by Noken have been installed. Defined by a modern design of evocative lines that seems to be moulded in order to embrace the countertop they are placed on.
