Mattia Oliviero Bianchi’s Mob Architects studio has overseen the carrying out of the house’s refurbishment, whose interiors have been renovated with materials from the PORCELANOSA Group. Located in the Aurelia area, in the northeast of Rome, this house was built in the 1970s and it has an area of 140 square metres in addition to a spacious 100m covered terrace.

The kitchen

The kitchen is the heart of the house, and here, it has been moved to a new place. The square-shaped floor offers a more functional structure. It is there where one can find the Emotions E.4.90 Forest Borax Mate kitchen furniture from Gamadecor in a premium finish.

he covering is made with the large format XLIGHT KALA White porcelain from URBATEK. We are dealing with a multifunctional area which is perfect to work in, to get together in or to enjoy different meals in.

The bathrooms

The three bathrooms in the house are equipped with sanitaryware from the Arquitect series, Nk Concept taps from Noken and several pieces from Systempool.

The main bathroom stands out because of the selection of finishes in marble and micro mosaic from L’Antic Colonial. Furthermore, the round-shaped basin from the Unique series has been manufactured with the KRION® Solid Surface mineral compact.

For the guests’ bathroom, the choice has been the XLIGHT wall tile in the Savage Dark finish and a round basin from the Tono series. A project by Foster + Partners, where the KRION® Solid Surface material plays a leading role.

In the children’s bathroom, the sandy tones from the wall tile from Porcelanosa have been combined, thus creating a pattern that goes in between light and dark lines.

The bedrooms

The bedroom area has also been refurbished and it has the same elegant style as the other spaces. All the rooms have direct access to the large covered terrace with a barbecue and dining area. A space to enjoy the good weather and get away from the outside noise.

Cosy classicism and modernity and chic

The perfect combination between classical elements and modern pieces from the PORCELANOSA Group set up the identity of this house. The mixture of wood finishes, classical-styled wall tiles, matt colours and the warm lighting, create a refined cosy & chic atmosphere, which characterises the atmospheres in this house.
