Art, nature and design: the creative refuge of Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, los Javis

With materials from Porcelanosa Grupo and an elegant design, this house combines art, cinema and style in every corner.

Art and nature. This is the personal and characteristic mixture of a house where the different materials from Porcelanosa Grupo take a discreet protagonism. The exclusive works of very diverse artists are housed in the different rooms of this house, located on the outskirts of Madrid, which has a special charm.

The interiors of the home respond to a need of its owners: inspiration and fun. This is the mix required by Spanish directors, screenwriters and producers Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, popularly known as ‘los Javis’. Their new home has become the ideal space to create their films and to enjoy the company of family and friends.

In the different environments -serene with unique and personal touches-, the decorative elements take over the attention. For this reason, a suggestive and sober natural stone design has been chosen as the general flooring of the residence. Also in the bookcase, where a natural wood model (L’Antic Colonial) has been installed in the work area. A marble with a matt effect and a smooth finish -AlhamaSand Home (L’Antic Colonial)-, which is an exclusive model that has been made ad hoc for this project.

Alhama Texture Home has been used for the terrace, an imposing and enveloping area that is the connection point between the different rooms. The piece is characterised by exuding elegance and giving a vigorous look to the spaces. Butech joint materials have helped to achieve a unified and dazzling final finish.

A kitchen with rustic warmth and modern touches

The Javis have entrusted the art studios Mesura and Viraje to design the building, as well as the interior design of their home. With exquisite taste, they have designed a kitchen in which natural stone has also been used. In this case, Altissima Taj Mahal Honed (XTONE) has been used for the splashback and the island. A delicate and subtle design, which combines perfectly with the rustified Alba Oak wood cabinets (Gamadecor).

Bright bathrooms with a contemporary look

In the different bathroom spaces of the house, bathroom equipment and furniture from Noken and Krion have been chosen. Thus, the use of the elements from the Round collection (Noken) in Brushed Stainless Steel finish stands out, providing a contemporary look. At the same time, in the main bathroom, characterised by its large windows, the New Lounge freestanding bathtub (Noken) is located. This piece is defined by its natural and neat lines. Accompanied by the Round taps -installed on the floor-, the atmosphere is discreet and cosy at the same time.
